Marta Krueger is a contemporary folk artist, based in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Her primary practice is painting, but Marta’s love for creative expression ranges from dance to sculpture, and anything in between.

Marta’s works are inspired by the rich history of Ukrainian folklore, Ukrainian dance, and Ukrainian cultural histories and traditions. Her works encompass traditional motifs mixed with a modern interpretation of how she expresses herself as a Ukrainian-Canadian.

Marta has a Bachelors of Fine Arts Honors degree with a minor in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan.
